 St Patrick's Day

Has anybody got any plans to celebrate St Patrick's Day next Wednesday, if so, what, where and when

My Mum was born on the 18th September. My second eldest Brother was born on the same date. His name is Patrick. My Mum died on St Patricks day.

So St Paddys day hold s nothing for me so thanks but no thanks.

Well I'm sorry to hear that Tony that is very sad, but for me I don't really do anything on these religious days but I will join in here with whatever goes on

always celebrate Paddy,s Day....albeit a bit quieter now in Bg..the shamrock will hopefully arrive from the old country
the best craic was always at Cheltenhan Race Festival...which Paddy,d Day normally falls in....now there was a celebration

We have the table top postponed for wedesday, we were asked if we could green beer???? I guess you could just put a drop of food colouring in it?? where to by it though, never seen it anywhere!!!

I love Paddy's day we used to go to my brother club and have a grand old jig about [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] The whole family would be there take up one of the lounges - Oh those were the days Now, we just go out for meal - Guess we are getting too old for - A go away or that, not likely on.

The Americans really do paint themselves and the town green

Good for you, enjoy your Paddy's Day, It's a good excuse for a knees up isn't it and to the Irish
I've been having a look at the calendar and apart from a couple of 90+ year olds I am the second oldest on this forum,
