First topic message reminder :

I have started this thread as I think it maybe useful to those of us who don't know any Bulgarian or know very little, I am sure that someone will come along and add to this or tell me where I have gone wrong :lol: :lol:

SOME USEFUL WORDS

Yes = Da No = Ne

Thank you = Blagodarya

Thank you very much = Blagodarya vi mnogo

You're welcome = Molya

Please = Ako obichate

Excuse me = Izvinete/Izviniavaite

Hello = Zdravei/Zdrasti

Can you tell me.where is..= Bihte li mi kazali kade e..

Can you help me? = Bihte li mi pomoognali?

Help = pomosht

Goodbye = Dovijdane,Sbogom,

So long = Doskoro, Chao

Good morning = Dobro utro

Good afternoon = Dobar den

like this blog, some meaningful words here, this language is not the easiest, can we formulate areas like the post office, normal post, speedy post, registered post, my post office only know normal post, does my head in at times. they have the stamps in their handbags crumpled up and spend 15 minutes making them straight, you would not believe it in the uk its fast and readily available but here it is slow and getting them to understand is not easy, believe me. g

К'во правиш-kvo pravish (what are you doing)... Kakvo-Kvo (what).
Kak za kasa?! I'm from Bulgaria and i don't know what that means!

Kak za kasa?! I'm from Bulgaria and i don't know what that means!


I believe that was posted but an ex member who's girlfriend was a gypsy so maybe its gypsy slang ? just a thought I don't know any Bulgarian so I can't comment.
