PostSubject: EU Breakdown cover for expats   Wed May 05, 2010 1:13 pm

Hi Folks

Does anyone know of any company that offers mechanical Breakdown cover throughout Europe for non-UK residents?

Been trawling the usual sites today (AA, RAC, Green Card, Churchill, etc.), but they will only provide this for UK residents with a UK registered vehicle.

Thanks
Chris

yes i would like to know too, we recently had a puncture on the motorway a2 and no one would stop and help, we got off eventually but it was not a nice experience and in bulgaria who do you call. not good and it makes you feel rather vulnerable over here. tips welcome.

Nothing!

I've e-mailed over 12 companies that offer EU breakdown cover and not had one reply

I think the only option is to walk into an Allianz office and try to sort it.

Will keep you posted!
