Over 120 people from Yambol have taken the flu vaccine

The Flu campaign began in October. Now the interest is not so great but there is still time and we hope more people come to be immunized, said Dr. Kapsazov. She was adamant that one of the safest means to prevent more serious respiratory diseases in winter is the vaccine. inspection which only cost 10 leva.

I assume everybody knows the dangers now of not having the flu injections. Prevention is the best method g

Sorry blink but you are wrong about being free

Lets not forget that if you are over 60 you have already paid your dues during your working life. If you live abroad you have to pay for the jab as you get stripped of your NHS rites. But this British Government still take Tax from you so in a way it is us that are paying for the so called 'Free' service. Do I sound bitter, I hope so.Grrrrrr

This can also be said for the fuel allowance. If you did not claim it in the UK before you went abroad when you reach qualifying age you don't get it. But it gets colder here at times than in the UK. Hope to hear the result of the EU court case on this issue as well.

No offence meant but something that I feel very strongly about.

Tony

You are right Tony.... It is actually not free.

I wish I knew about the flu jabs I would have taken it before going to London.
I went to London just before Christmas and caught the flu. Spent the whole of Christmas Day in A&
E.
However, all they say is take paracetemol and do all the other home remedies that you do and you shall be fine.

A few days later my mum and dad caught the flu. They went to their GP and were told to go home take paracetemol and rest. One week later and the flu had gone even worse. They went to GP again and were told the same. They finally got better one month later, but still not 100%

I am sure some sort of antibiotics would help as I got some sort of medication from here and I was much better in a few days.

Definitely, this year I shall be taking my flu jab here.

Thank you very much for the information.
