Hi Guys


We bought this house back in 2006 went to see it once but never seen it again. It was in ok condtion but I WOULD say it has deterated over the 7 years now. It's discription when we bought it was as follows bwlow (but of course it was nothing like the estate agents discribed) in our opinion we would be better off pulling down the house and rebuilding. Once weh ahd decided to go and look at the place again and we have a few photos to show than we will be open to offers

The Estate Agents version .
The house is located just 20 km from the town of Sliven. This region offers peaceful atmosphere, clean air and great possibilities for tourism, fishing and hunting. The house offers 150sq. m of living area distributed in the following manner:
First floor: a kitchen, living room, one bedroom and a corridor. The flooring here is concrete and the windows are wooden.
Second floor: there you can find three bedrooms, connected with a corridor – all with wooden floors as well as a balcony.
Electricity and running water are available both inside the house. The bathroom and the toilet have to be relocated inside the house. This could be easily done with the help of our local builders. There is no home telephone but it is easy to install upon a request. The house needs refreshment and modernizing to become a lovely place to live in. The property benefits from a summer kitchen which provides more living space.

The house is overlooking a big garden of 2000 sq. m with a parking lot, many fruit trees, shady vine-arbour where you can rest in the hot summer evenings. The soil is fertilizing and you can use this land to plant flowers or grow vegetables. An outbuilding of 65 sq. m is also available.

Located in the outskirts of the village the property reveals beautiful view towards the hills.
This village, where the house is located in, has local shops, cafes and regular bus transport, police station, school. The property is suitable for vacation home or permanent residence alike.

We paid about £8k for it than but I don't suppose we would get our money back on it, hence thought I would put an 'Open to Ofers' rather than put a price on. I guess people will only pay what they think it is worth. The neighbour appears to be using it

House in need of referbishment but peraonally I say knock the house down and rebuild.  The grounds are 2000sq   Looking at around 8000lev

Strange thing, someone said they may have a friend interested in the place could I send the details and address. So they went in search of the place but said they could not find it therefore, could I send them a copy of the deeds so they can go to the mayors office to check where it is La La La Really!!! Do people really fall for this I wonder

Surprise surprise our house in Sliven has been on the market since a week after we bought it back in 2003 and today a message from the estate agent asking is it still for sale as they have a client who is interested - Well this I find hard to believe, they are probably updating their records but hey we will wait and see how it goes.

I humbly suggest you keep a VERY close eye on what happens next. I recently spoke with a friend who had had his property listed with an agent for a number of years...he received a message, just like yours and he replied in the positive and his property was sold.
He sat back and waited for the formalities to be completed (agents job) and to see the money deposited in his account. This never happened...he got a bill from the agent instead!!!!

Selling price....50,000 leva....received.

Admin and taxes...4500 leva...paid

Agents commission @ 10%...5000 leva...received.

Listing charges...@ 10,000 leva per calender year...5 yrs x 10...50,000 leva...outstanding.

Please forward the sum of 50,000 leva within 7 days so we can close this account.

We welcome your business.

Even the sums don't add up!!!

Be very very careful.

Oh Bazz I wish you had not told me that, I have started to panic already so some sleepless nights coming up as have given him the info.

This property has been a pain in the rear end from the day we bought it.
