I know I havn't been here long but when I arrived two years ago today the sun was shining and it was 33 degrees.Last year was just about the same but this year it seems to have cooled off quickly and today is only 25 degrees and Monday is going to be 22 degrees.I hope to God we are not in for an early Winter.Where I live we have had cracking thunder storms and a deluge of rain and I don't remember this happening before this time of year. Now we had a load of apricotes this year but hardly any apples as opposed to last year which I have found puzzling.Lets hope that September is not going to be the new October and so on this year.

This certainly a country with diverse weather patterns..we've been having day temps above mid 30's for weeks now, today being a welcome exception..just managed 31 degrees! As I write, it is still 24 outside. My lawn, garden and I all wish for some rain as the pump and well have all been flogged to death! I even took the Jeep to a carwash today..because as sure as God made little apples, whenever I wash and polish a car, the rain is only minutes away..no response so far. My apples and pears are doing very well, but the major grape vine has given up the fight..for the first time in six years the sweet table grapes aren't worth picking.

Hoping that everyone else is doing well.

PS. I have a snake stealing eggs from my chook house..free to a good home if anyone wants it..delivery can be arranged.
